Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of the Buyers, assignment of tasks and performance monitoring, creation, development and execution of quotations and RFPs to ensure the most competitive proposals are obtained.

  • Awareness of the marketplace, understanding the categories and the end users requirements and be able to fulfil those requirements, negotiate with supplier to ensure the best Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) is achieved.

  • Participate in Vendor Management and Supplier Relationship Management, ensuring suppliers adhere to top standards of performance.

  • Mentor, train and develop the Buyers, contribute positively to the bottom line of the organization.

  • Develop category strategies where necessary to minimize marketplace risks, monitor and recommend system process improvements. Create, maintain and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), utilize reports in decision making.

  • Collaborate and work with the end user departments to assess their needs and requirements and make recommendations that will result in achieving the overall best Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), train end users on the fundamentals of the procure to pay process including the creation of purchase requisitions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Procurement, Sourcing and Supply Management, or Hospitality Management.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ Procurement management experience.

  • APICS/ISM certifications an advantage.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Stratton Warren software applications.

  • Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.
