Responsibilities:

  • Oversee website, mobile site and booking engine development, enhancement, ongoing performance optimization and roadmap planning, review the end-to-end user journey to improve customer experience and drive conversion.

  • Work closely with internal business stakeholders, designers and IT to define and design new products and enhancements to existing products, team with designers and technical staff members to develop user stories, information architecture, functional requirements and prototype designs.

  • Build the business case and commercial justification for product developments and enhancements, plan and manage the product backlog by prioritizing customer feedback, enhancements and fixes.

  • Clearly understand, define and prioritize product features and requirements, and ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals, manage the product life cycle from planning to execution and ongoing management after launch.

  • Manage the user testing and quality assurance process, maintain consistency of creative and in line with the brand standard, timely execution of campaign sites / pages to support brand/ seasonal / promotional campaigns.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise work and follow through on issues, lead content management efforts to ensure that digital content is relevant, accurate and up-to-date across different language versions.

  • Track digital performance against key metrics, and produce regular management reporting, monitor the digital landscape for latest developments in digital technology and changes in digital consumer behaviour.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above.

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience including at least 5 years in website and booking engine development and e-commerce.

  • Minimum 2 years working in multi-national/cross market environment in Asia Pacific including China market – must understand the cultural nuances of marketing to various Asian ethnicities.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading the conceptualization, design, implementation, launch and ongoing support of superior digital products.

  • Excellent negotiating skills and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities to meet deadlines and use analytics to inform product planning and prioritization.

  • Solid understanding of customer-focused design and usability principles, strong mix of business, analytical and creative abilities, team player with a collaborative working style.

  • Proficient in MS Office, HTML, desktop publishing and online design applications and software, aware of existing social media platforms, familiar with online applications and smartphone platforms.

  • Good written and spoken English and Cantonese.
