Responsibilities:

  • Manage company's Sustainability report submission to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKSE)

  • Aggregate and manage data collection process for all ESG reporting metrics (such as energy, water, waste, recycling, employee and training data, procurement spends, community and company'programs, donations and sponsorships, etc.)

  • Audit and be responsible for ESG data collected from various departments such as HR, Facilities, CGR, Finance, Stewarding, F&B etc. and serve as primary point of contact for internal or external reviewers of data.

  • Coordinate with global sustainability reporting team, local financial reporting team, audit team, communications, CGR and other departments, as appropriate, for preparing Sustainability report.

  • Document data owners, processes and accuracy protocols for all ESG metrics.

  • Prepare report schedules, vet, edit and tie-out ESG data, to meet all requirements of Appendix 27 of HKSE ESG Reporting Guide, in both English and Chinese during the reporting cycle for Vice President Sustainability’s review.

  • Assist the Director of Sustainability and ESG and Vice President Sustainability on other reporting aspects, such as development of ESG related targets for the company.

  • Assist in conducting economic evaluations of potential sustainability investment.

  • Serve as project manager on assigned sustainability projects. Other ad-hoc activities include managing sustainability activities as needed, helping with research on new technologies or requirements, assisting in ad hoc projects and assisting the Director of ESG and Vice President Sustainability to implement new projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance

  • At least 5 years accounting, auditing, or reporting experience

  • Experience with Hong Kong Companies Ordinance and Hong Kong Listing Rules must

  • Prior knowledge or exposure to requirements of Appendix 27 of HKSE ESG Reporting Guide

  • Knowledge of Sustainability reporting frameworks such as GRI, SASB, HKES ESG Guide advantageous

  • Proficient in MS Office and PeopleSoft

  • Good written and spoken English and Cantonese
