Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of skilled chefs in the day-to-day kitchen operations and will prepare a variety of high-quality Chinese food items.

  • Responsible to plan and implement new seasonal menus as dictated by the market, to oversee all food production in the assigned outlet, to ensure the highest standard in food quality and consistency is maintained in the assigned outlet.

  • Control and be responsible for the outlet food cost and operational costs.

  • Assist in overseeing the preparation and presentation of high standard of cuisine for the assigned outlet.

  • Constantly evaluate local, national and international market trends, vendors and other hotel/restaurant operations to ensure that the hotel’s own operations remain competitive and cutting edge.

  • Assist in menu development and implementation.

 

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent training, with recognized professional certification will be an advantage.

  • At least 20 years’ experience in renowned Chinese Restaurants, at least 6 years’ experience as a Chinese Chef de Cuisine is required.

  • Possess extensive operational experience and strong sense of responsibility.

  • With determination to attain goals set by management.

  • Fluent in written and spoken Cantonese or Mandarin.
