Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the effective development, management and penetration of assigned accounts consistent with targeted sales goals. Develop and effectively executes comprehensive account acquisition/penetration plans and strategies. Coordinates corporate and support services within assigned accounts.

  • Introduce new games and systems enhancements to retailers. Recruit new lottery retailers and grow sales at existing lottery retailers by selling new products/promotions. Visits to retailers to ensure a consistent and professional presence.

  • Respond, investigate and resolve retailer questions and concerns.  Motivate retailers to participate in and support promotions.

  • Responsibile for the management, training and effectiveness of all district staff. Ensure compliance with established lottery and company policies and procedures. 

  • Schedule and conduct ride-alongs with sales teams.  Ensure that assigned Sales Representatives meet annual sales goals. Conduct sales meetings and inform the sales force of new developments in products and policies.

  • Develop, implement and evaluate sales promotions with individual retail outlets. Contribute to license renewals by assisting with Sales and Marketing knowledge and involvement.

  • Formulate a yearly business plan for assigned territory.  Prioritize assignments, create sound plans and schedules.

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, sales/marketing or related field or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 4 years related sales working experience.

  • Demonstrated coaching skills, supervisory experience preferred.

  • General understanding of lottery transactions and how the lottery operates.

  • Highly organized with ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, leadership and motivational skills, effective in time management and tasks organization.

  • Able to produce written materials that are clear, concise and easily understood.
