Responsible for the effective development, management and penetration of assigned accounts consistent with targeted sales goals. Develop and effectively executes comprehensive account acquisition/penetration plans and strategies. Coordinates corporate and support services within assigned accounts.
Introduce new games and systems enhancements to retailers. Recruit new lottery retailers and grow sales at existing lottery retailers by selling new products/promotions. Visits to retailers to ensure a consistent and professional presence.
Respond, investigate and resolve retailer questions and concerns. Motivate retailers to participate in and support promotions.
Responsibile for the management, training and effectiveness of all district staff. Ensure compliance with established lottery and company policies and procedures.
Schedule and conduct ride-alongs with sales teams. Ensure that assigned Sales Representatives meet annual sales goals. Conduct sales meetings and inform the sales force of new developments in products and policies.
Develop, implement and evaluate sales promotions with individual retail outlets. Contribute to license renewals by assisting with Sales and Marketing knowledge and involvement.
Formulate a yearly business plan for assigned territory. Prioritize assignments, create sound plans and schedules.
Bachelor's Degree in business, sales/marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 4 years related sales working experience.
Demonstrated coaching skills, supervisory experience preferred.
General understanding of lottery transactions and how the lottery operates.
Highly organized with ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects.
Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, leadership and motivational skills, effective in time management and tasks organization.
Able to produce written materials that are clear, concise and easily understood.
