Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day HR solutions to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

  • Provide responsive and high quality support and advice to all business units on issues related to staff grievances, investigations and disciplinary actions.

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.  Assume responsibility for all labor dispute cases with relevance to Employee Relations issues.

  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.  Identify, plan and implement positive employee relations programs, leading toward a more efficient and motivated workforce.

  • Maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.

  • Provide employee turnover analysis to business units as a tool for their retention needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree of above in Human Resources or related discipline. Holding certificate / diploma in Counseling / Negotiation and / or labor relations will be an advantage.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Human Resources or related field. Ideally a generalists HR background and experience in managing people. Such experience much cover a wide understanding of people and organization issues. Experience in gaming and hospitality operations will be a definite advantage.

  • Well-versed in Macau Labor Legislations and solid experience in managing complex Employee Relations cases, including grievance, dispute and disciplinary issues.

  • Demonstrate confidence and experience in negotiating and communication.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese. Fluency in Mandarin will be an advantage.
