Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and coordination in business planning, accounting, and budgeting cycle of the company. Prepare forecast & budget financials and presentation.

  • Ensure month end closing is done on a timely and accurate manner for submission to HQ and Region by working with accounting shared service and be able to explain the financials.

  • Provide key commentary / analysis on sales by boutique and by category on weekly basis (vs LY / Budget / target).

  • Analyze monthly competitors results and provide market updates.

  • Provide insights on the variation on key costs components such as gross margin, inventory depreciation, commercial costs, communication costs.

  • Monitor and manage costs and advise to management and other departments.

  • Assist on setting monthly sales targets to boutique and initiate incentives.

  • Ensure staff commissions calculations are in order.

  • Key interface with retail team, assist in coordinating to implement “audit steps” to ensure strong operational and internal control at boutique level.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory, tax, audit, reporting requirement.

  • Support ad-hoc projects rollout and advise comments from finance / planning perspective.


Job Requirements:

  • Finance / Accounting qualification with above 8 years of work experiences in multinational companies.

  • Relevant experience in Retail / FMCG industry will be added advantage.

  • Strong business acumen, and able to translate number into action and follow through with business owner.

  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively with cross department including retail and office colleagues, work under multi-tasking environment and be flexible in adapting to changing priorities.

  • Proficient in Cantonese and English, other language is an advantage.
