Job Responsibilities:
Oversee management of all F&B related units, and direct report to Hotel General Manager.
Lead the F&B Department in achieving budgeted revenues, prepare monthly forecast, monitor and control food & beverage costs and labor costs, and maximize profitability.
Establish targets, policies & procedures, to ensure the implementation in all outlets and banquet are in line with the policies and standards of the Hotel for achieving company goal, and recommend tactics for improvement.
Coordinate with the menu planning (seasonal and special), pricing, promotional activities, sources of supply, trends, inventories, etc.; so as to improve sales volume in all outlets.
Tracking of promotions in F&B outlets and contributing in the preparation of F&B marketing plan.
Consistent check of food & beverage quality, services and presentation of all outlets and banquet.
Involve in coaching and monitor the implementation of F&B internal training, with the aim to enhance the services and products exceeding expectations.
Participate in the preparation of annual departmental operating budget.
Delegate duties and responsibilities to assistants to ensure the proper functioning of the hotel management and to oversee the delivery of F&B service.
Complete the Hotel-related tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent education.
Minimum 15 years of experience with at least 8 years in F&B Management level.
Working experience in 5-star hotels or well-known restaurants will be an advantage.
Proven management abilities in demonstrated knowledge of planning, strategic, budgeting and forecasting.
Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets.
Quality and Cost minded; strong customer service oriented.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Up to date with food & beverage trends and best practices.
Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Candidate who is less experience would be considered as the position of Assistant Director of F&B.
